![]() Created with Particle Storm 2 Pro An incredible set up created by Scott Cegielski and implemented by Scott and Richard Morton, every thing was completely automated through PS2. We targeted PS2's emitters to randomly animated nulls and set varying birthrates to generate lasers and pulses firing at the Mech. Once a particle collided with our objects, using collision detection, spawning, and sub objects, we were able to automatically generate effectors nulls that were used by shader plugins to create the burn marks on the walls and ground, and generate all the sparks, smoke and debris shooting out of the Mech. We then had separated emitters for the bursts of flames. Without PS2 these kinds of elaborate battle shots would have been impossible to do in the amount of time given to us. Nearly all of Station X's projects included PS in one way or another. Image provided by Richard Morton, Digital Artist This image created with Napalm Click here to return to the Gallery. |
