Simulation

There are parameters that effect the previewing of the particles in the OpenGL previewing window.

Frames/Second: The playback speed in the OpenGl preview window.

Warning!: Playback speeds may not truly be 30fps. To reach this performance with complex projects, we recommend an OpenGL card.

Start Time: The start time that the preview window should use. Measured in seconds.
End Time: The end time that the preview window should use. Measured in seconds.

Over-sampling: Controls how accurately calculations are carried out. Therefore, a higher sample rate would result in more accurate calculations but slower previewing speed.

Quick Tip: The default of over-sampling (1) is usually good for most applications. Sometimes when particles are moving too fast or collision objects are too small, a higher oversampling rate will result in a more accurate simulation.
