MODELER

Thor is located in both Modeler (Object panel, Layout section, Custom roll-out, DR_Thor) and Layout(Objects panel, Object Replace Plug-ins, DR_Thor). Modeler is able to easily create non-animateable Thor objects using three interfaces (Main, Trunk, and Branches).

MODELER

By hitting OK, the Thor data is transferred to Modeler. If you wish, you can use the Save Data (.thr) function to save your Thor parameters.

If the lightning bolt is not very smooth looking when rendered, increase the maximum smoothing angle for the surface. 150 degrees seems to be good. That is because the lightning bolt does not necessarily have five or more sides. There may be 4 or even 3 sides to the branches, and triangles and squares don't smooth well with an 89.9 degree max smoothing angle.

The ends of the lightning bolt branches are not capped so you can see through the bolt if you look into an end.
